PHYSIOTHERAPIST – Temporary to Permanent Full-Time

Carrington Physio & Rehab is looking for a fully - licensed physiotherapist to join our team!
As an independent contractor, you are truly in charge of your own schedule. Need time off? You got it. Want to add extra, last-minute shifts? If we have the space, you've got it. We ask that you be punctual, a good communicator, and able to work under minimal supervision.
Position summary:
The primary functions of the Physiotherapist include the assessment of patients; interpretation of findings; implementing and evaluating the impact or effectiveness of intervention strategies and education of patients and/or their caregivers. The successful candidate may be required to work weekends.
Your Day-to-Day
- Assessing out-patient MSK injuries including, but not limited to, strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion
- Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
- Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations
- Collaborating with the inter-professional team at your clinic
- Supervising Physiotherapy students (as preferred)
- Communicating with external stakeholders and client referral sources
- Managing caseload in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring to the Team
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapist of Alberta
- 1-2 + years’ experience treating clients in an outpatient setting (solid asset)
- Pelvic health, concussion, or vestibular training is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development

Salary: From $81,600.00 per year
