We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Massage Therapist to join our well established multi disciplinary wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being for our clients. You will be joining a team that is currently at capacity for accepting new clients, so it’s a great opportunity to quickly build your client base. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, creating a welcoming environment that encourages trust and comfort. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients’ lives while working in a vibrant, supportive setting. Affordable set rent of $600, or split percentage available if preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality massage therapy treatments tailored to each client’s needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and injury rehabilitation techniques
- Assess clients’ health history and discuss their wellness goals to develop customized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance results
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment by adhering to hygiene standards and clinic protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide clear explanations of procedures
- Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing career development
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing or certification body in your region
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health assessments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and team members
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach to client care
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a clinical or wellness setting is an asset but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks involved in massage therapy
