Westmount Pool & Spa is a family owned and operated pool and hot tub business based in Guelph since 1991. We are a service based company focused on quality. We are seeking a customer service and quality minded Service Technician to join our team.

Individuals must be willing to learn, hard working, an enthusiastic employee, likes working with their hands & outdoors. As well as, interested in learning new skills such as; installing new pumps, filters, heaters saftey covers & liners. Repairing electric motors & natural gas/propane heaters.

This is a full time position with a specialization in the pool & hot tub service division of the company. The candidate will take on a lead role within the company & will need to be comfortable with leading a team of technicians throughout the pool season. They will need to provide the highest of customer service and report to the service manager.

Requirements:

- valid G drivers licence with a clean abstract and be insurable under company policy
- minimum 2-3 years of service Technician experience with pools, hot tubs or a related industry. (Preffered)
- must be reliable, trustworthy and organized.
- must be able to work outside in a physically demanding role and lift 50lbs minimum /daily
- post secondary education in a related field or trade skills training is beneficial
- motivation to excel in the pool service industry
- customer service experience a plus.
- working in an organized manner and in all weather conditions
- have good communication and customer service skills and be able to professionally represent the company.

The Job includes but not limited to:





- Diagnosing and troubleshooting of pool and hot tub issues
- Repairs and replacements of pool and hot tub equipment
- Leak detections and repairs
- assisting with Liner measurements and replacements
- Assisting with Safety cover measurements and installations
- digging trenches & running plumbing line
- Completing service documentation
- Maintaining inventory and supply levels
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- assisting in organizing crews
- helping to deliver, service & maintain hot tubs
- experience with openings & closing pools
- complete scheduled service calls in a accurate & efficient manner
- maintain a safe & organized service vehicle & its contents
- complete all necessary paperwork & work orders neatly & accurately
- Knowledge of water chemistry is an asset

There is a possibility of expanding this role during the winter months to the right candidate.
