Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight and heavy equipment across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, automotive repair, and heavy equipment handling are highly valued. Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for the transportation of freight and heavy equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, freight documentation, and vehicle records.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties.




- Assist with the securement of freight to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.

Skills

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields.
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.

Pay: Up to $36.62 per hour
