Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated AZ Truck Driver to join our Sniper logistics team! As an AZ Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty vehicles, utilize specialized equipment, and contribute to the seamless flow of goods. Your expertise will help keep operations running smoothly while adhering to safety standards and transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks with AZ (Class A or B) licenses to transport freight over long and short distances.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.




- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues for repair or service.
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws, including safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling.

Skills

- Valid AZ (Class A or B) commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment used in freight handling.
- Knowledge of freight logistics, shipping procedures, and transportation regulations.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues when needed.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate machinery, and perform manual tasks safely.
- Commitment to safety standards and attention to detail in vehicle inspections and cargo securement.
