About The Role

Astral Solutions Group (ASG) is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will play a strategic role in the implementation of EPM solutions.

Your Role

- Senior Business Analyst will act as a liaison between Clients and ASG Technical team.
- Understand Business requirements to develop EPM solutions.
- Document business requirements.
- Assess proposed solutions to determine which solution best fits the business need.
- Identify gaps and shortcomings in solutions, and determine necessary workarounds or changes to the solution
- Prioritize and progressively elaborate stakeholder and solution requirements and acceptance criteria to enable the project team to implement a solution that will meet the needs of the sponsoring organization and stakeholders.
- Test the proposed solution to make sure align with business requirements.
- Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.
- Work closely with Project Manager, Business team and technical team.
- Identify, record, and ensure consistency and efficiency of business needs.
- Communicate solutions and obtain approval from stakeholders and experts.
- Guide the development and test teams in the search for solutions. Ensure that the requirements are understood and met.
- Translate the functional or user requirements into system concepts and system specifications including the determination and documentation of non-functional requirements and technical constraints.
- Support team for development,



testing and project management.

Qualifications

Your skills:

- Bachelor in business administration, accounting, finance or computer systems management or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with EPM Systems like Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM, OneStream, Anaplan would be a major asset.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and corporate finance. CPA designation is a major asset.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of test management tools, project, and Visio.
