LightHouse Counselling & Wellness is a growing Ontario-based psychotherapy practice dedicated to helping helping people feel their best.

We specialize in working with children, families, parents, couples and individuals of all ages. We have a diverse team of therapists who work with many presenting issues such as:

We are primarily seeking Registered Psychotherapists (RP – Independent Practice) and Registered Social Workers (RSW) in good standing with their respective colleges. RP (Qualifying) applicants nearing independent practice may also be considered for the right fit.

Practice Locations

We currently offer in-person therapy services at the following Ontario locations:

- Kanata
- Richmond

This role is hybrid and requires in-person work with the flexibility to add regular virtual shifts wherever you'd like!

Who You Are

You are a grounded, relational, and emotionally intelligent therapist who values both clinical autonomy and collaboration. You are comfortable supporting children of all ages, adolescents, and adults.

You bring professionalism, flexibility, and strong clinical judgment to your work. You value feedback, accountability, collaboration and ongoing growth,



and you appreciate being part of a team environment where therapists support one another while maintaining independence in their clinical approach.

We are especially interested in therapists who:

- Have experience or training in working with young children, parents and families
- Have experience or training in couples therapy
- Are comfortable working with addiction, trauma, and intimacy-related concerns or have specialized training in one of these areas
- Can offer evening and/or weekend availability
- Intentionally use Safe and Effective Use of Self (SEUS) in their work
- Are seeking long-term professional growth within a group practice setting

Requirements





- Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Registration in good standing with CRPO (RP – Independent Practice) or OCSWSSW (RSW)
- Availability for a minimum of three shifts per week (15 hours/week). 2 or 3 of the shifts must be in-person and at least one of the shifts must be in the evening or on the weekend.
- Ability to maintain consistent in-person and virtual availability, and timely clinical documentation
- Professional liability insurance
- Comfort with electronic charting and common technology platforms (JaneApp, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong clinical boundaries, ethics, professionalism, and independent decision-making

Pay: $90.00-$120.00 per hour
