This posting is for a currently existing role.

What You'll Do:

- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
- Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc.
- Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, etc.
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)




- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and the executive sous chef
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

What You'll Need:

- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace, with attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff and maintain a positive work environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Legal eligibility to work in Ontario, Canada.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
