Overview:
Motel 6 Red Deer is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-service-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and lasting impression of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests and perform check-in and check-out procedures in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide assistance throughout the shift.
- Handle guest requests and resolve concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Perform housekeeping support, including laundry, light cleaning, mopping, and maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk and lobby areas.




- Monitor the property to ensure guest safety and security while following all hotel policies and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status and ensure guest rooms are ready for arriving guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth overnight hotel operations.

Qualifications :

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers and reservation systems (training provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Robust attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
