Our clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Optometric Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team in the heart of Downtown Vancouver.

Responsibilities
As an Optometric Assistant / Receptionist, you will play an essential role in ensuring our patients have an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and checking them in and out
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Processing payments and handling billing
- Submitting and processing insurance claims
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
- Performing pre-testing prior to the doctor's examination (training provided as needed)
- Ordering and dispensing contact lenses
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Frame selection and assisting opticians as needed
- Assisting optometrists with general responsibilities as needed
- Assisting with general clinic operations and administrative duties
- Working collaboratively with our doctors and team to provide exceptional patient care
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Robust organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Previous experience in an optometry, medical, dental, or healthcare office is an asset, but not required
