Houde Mechanical Inc Labourers/Helpers assist skilled tradespersons and perform labouring activities in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from work areas
- Assist in repairing, maintaining, and installing refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning equipment, and sheet metal equipment
- Work safely and adequately at all times and from heights
- Take accurate measurements and action them appropriately
- Maintain a tidy work workplace
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Valid G Driver’s License
- WHMIS Certification
- Working at Heights Certification
- AODA Training
- Health and Safety Training
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday; 7 :00 a.m. to 3 :30 p.m. on Friday.
- Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
- This job requires frequent heavy lifting, bending, twisting, and standing.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
