Pilot11 is a brand-recent marketing studio built on one belief: small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same content firepower as national brands. We're just getting started — and we're not thinking small. Our goal is to become one of the top creative agencies in the Niagara Region, and we're looking for the right person to help build that from the ground up.

This isn't a log-in, do-your-tasks, log-off kind of job. You'll work directly with the founder, shape how we deliver content, and grow into a bigger role as the company grows. If you want a front-row seat — and a real hand on the wheel — at a startup with actual momentum, this is it.

The role

We need a sharp, fast, creative video editor to help us deliver premium content to clients, reliably and quickly. You'll take raw footage from client shoots and turn it into scroll-stopping reels and photo content, help shape shot lists and storylines before we film, and jump on strategy calls with clients when needed. Some weeks you might also be on-site filming alongside the founder.

The pace is real: we're aiming for about one finished (30-45 second) video per hour, so a full day means a full set of client-ready deliverables. If you thrive on momentum and hate wasted time, you'll like it here.

What you'll do

- Edit raw video/photo footage into polished, on-brand reels and content libraries
- Help develop storylines and shot lists ahead of client shoots
- Join strategy calls with clients to understand their goals and voice
- Occasionally film on-site (Niagara Region) alongside the founder




- Experiment with AI tools to speed up editing, captioning, and content planning
- Help manage and post content across social platforms

Requirements

- Real, hands-on experience with video editing software (Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve — whatever you've been living in)
- Comfortable creating for and posting on social media — you understand what actually makes something get watched
- Genuinely curious about AI — interested in testing new tools and models, not just aware they exist
- Some exposure to web design or "tinkering" is a plus, not a dealbreaker
- Ambitious, a fast learner, and hungry to grow with a company rather than just clock in
- Disciplined and focused — able to work independently and hit deadlines without hand-holding
- Based in or near the Niagara Region, for occasional on-site shoots

You don't need years of professional experience — we're open to someone early in their career, including students. What matters is that you can show you've already been doing this, even informally: a personal channel, freelance edits, class projects, whatever it is.

Compensation

Hourly, based on experience. Light hours to start, but we are expecting to bring on clients fast.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
