Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a professional demeanor.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS systems
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit/debit card payments, and mobile payments
- Provide product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Assist customers with inquiries, returns, or exchanges in a courteous manner
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized throughout shifts
- Support inventory management through merchandising and stock replenishment as needed
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries





Requirements

- Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service preferred
- Solid communication skills in English
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with retail technology tools
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and patience
