Key Details:

- Remuneration: Base pay, plus gratuities and commissions (if earned)
- Schedule: Weekend availability required
- Certifications: Must be Smart Serve certified (or able to obtain within the first month)
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and facility setup/cleanup
- Accurately handle transactions, count tills, and prepare deposits
- Maximize revenue by effectively up-selling to customers
- Schedule racing events efficiently and ensure optimal usage of resources
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly
- Coordinate group events and conduct award ceremonies
- Provide accurate information to customers in person and over the phone
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all areas, including the lobby, banquet room, lounge, and restrooms
- Complete specific facility cleaning tasks as assigned by management

Basic Requirements:

- Experience: Prior customer service experience preferred
- Skills: Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive in customer-facing roles
- Availability: Must be able to work weekends and evenings

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma, or one to three months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience





Skills and Abilities

Reasoning Ability:

- Apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions
- Resolve basic problems with limited variables in standardized situations

Language Skills:

- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Communicate effectively with customers and respond to inquiries

Mathematical Skills:

- Perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages

Work Environment:

- Work is performed primarily indoors, with some exposure to the outdoors through open areas
- Noise levels are moderate due to the facility's environment
