Position Summary

As a Market Cashier/Server,



you will be a key member of our Food & Beverage team, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for guests. This role involves processing transactions, taking food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also support operations at Bunkers, our on-course shop, ensuring golfers have access to snacks and refreshments while enjoying their game.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers warmly, creating a welcoming setting that encourages repeat visits.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, adhering to service standards.
- Adhere to ProServe standards and all local alcohol service regulations, verifying identification and ensuring responsible service.
- Provide attentive service at Bunkers, ensuring golfers have access to refreshments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in both the market and Bunkers,



following health and safety regulations.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with restocking shelves and rotating products.
- Routinely check product use-by dates, removing expired items and reporting discrepancies.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Inform guests about daily specials and promotions, encouraging sales.
- Follow shift instructions, including cleaning, table setting, and collecting materials from other departments.
- Assist in other areas of the Resort as needed.
- Reconcile transaction lists from credit card machines with POS records.
- Prepare deposit envelopes, record deposit amounts, and complete safe depository procedures.
- Document and report incidents or accidents that occur during service.

Requirements

- Eligible to work in Canada.
- ProServe certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or food & beverage preferred.
- Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

Duration: This is a Full-Time seasonal position, April to October. Overtime during busy periods may be required.
