Our growing ecommerce business delivers quality products to retailers and restaurants, focusing on exceptional customer service. We are seeking a Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise. This is a critical requirement as proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for performing tasks including order management, customer service and data entry. Schedule 2 to 3 days per week, day hours only..

**Primarily remote with occasional in person visits.

Role Description

- Full cycle bookkeeper with on-line QuickBooks
- Payroll, Payroll tax, WSIB, HST payments
- Process payments
- Create and send purchase orders to vendors
- Provide excellent customer service by email and phone
- Reconcile bank, credit card and Paypal and similar statements
- Perform other administrative and supportive tasks
- Entering orders in the system

Qualifications

- Proficient in on-line QuickBooks specifically in A/P, A/R and general accounting, with 5+ years experience
- 4+ years experience in Microsoft Office




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective phone and customer service and problem solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent English written and spoken skills
- Perform administrated tasks as needed
- Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to work in a rapid paced environment
- Software used: On-line QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Ship Station
- General knowledge of office apps
- Emailing with Outlook
