We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Dog Groomer to join our dedicated pet care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, exceptional grooming skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Senior Dog Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' pets look and feel their best while maintaining a safe and positive environment for both animals and staff.

Duties

- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering professional grooming advice
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas in accordance with health standards
- Assist in training and mentoring junior groomers or apprentices to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Handle heavy lifting of grooming equipment or large dogs safely and efficiently
- Monitor pet behavior during grooming sessions to ensure safety and comfort for all animals
- Manage appointment schedules effectively to maximize client satisfaction and operational efficiency

Qualifications





- Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about grooming needs and care tips
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy dogs or equipment
- Knowledge of animal behavior, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in pet grooming environments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and attention to detail
- Certification from a recognized pet grooming program is preferred but not required

Pay: $22.50-$35.00 per hour
