Full Time Instructor – Continuing Care Assistant Program

Responsibilities:
Provide theoretical and practical instruction for the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program while supporting student success throughout the program. Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering classroom, lab, and clinical learning experiences, evaluating student performance and providing academic guidance and support.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a degree in Nursing Education or related subject area or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, subject to approval by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Candidates must be eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses’ Association of Saskatchewan. Two (2)
years recent/relevant work experience that must include experience in gerontology, home care and special care. Requires up-to-date TLR, CPR Level C with AED, PART, and WHMIS. Positive interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with people from various equity groups are required. Experience in long-term care is an asset.
Remuneration: $72,038 – $94,798
Location: Prince Albert, SK
Term: September 2026 to August 2027 (Possibility of renewal)
