- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Lift heavy vehicle components safely during repairs and maintenance procedures
- Interpret diagnostic codes and perform system tests to identify underlying problems quickly
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers and team members
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair environments
- Robust mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models
- Hands-on experience with welding, schematics reading, and assembly work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance as well as complex repairs on automobiles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Prior experience working with automotive schematics and technical manuals is highly desirable
- Mechanic experience combined with a proactive attitude toward safety standards and quality workmanship
