We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. This role will be responsible for various accounting functions across multiple divisions, including asset, financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Kidco Construction

- Oversight of all day to day accounting operations
- Asset and loan management
- Day to day cash flow forecasting
- Preparation of weekly dashboard
- Month end entries and package preparation
- Yearend package preparation
- Bank reporting
- E360 Oversight and reconciliation
- Update insurance and review equipment listing at renewal
- Reoccurring entries (loans/property taxes, equipment loans)
- Preparation of equipment rental cheques and US cheques
- Bank Reconciliation
- GST reporting
- Oversight of accounting and payroll software. Oversee implementation of new software.

Kidco Hauling

- Oversight of all day to day accounting operations
- Month end entries and package preparation
- Yearend package preparation
- Bank reconciliation





The Rise Golf Course

- Oversight of all day to day accounting operations
- Month end entries and package preparation
- Yearend package preparation

Qualifications & Skills:

- University of College education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Enrolled the CPA program (Kidco is willing to support attaining this designation)
- 2–5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
