Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Afterschool Program Staff to join our team. In this role, you will support children’s educational and social development through engaging activities, tutoring, and mentorship. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a background in early childhood education or related fields. Duties

- Assist with planning and implementing afterschool activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Provide tutoring support to students in various subjects, ensuring individual learning needs are met
- Support children with homework and educational projects in a caring and encouraging manner
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and personal growth
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop program schedules and special events




- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
- Maintain a clean, organized activity space that is conducive to learning and play

Qualifications

- Experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children is highly preferred
- Background or training in early childhood education is a plus
- Robust interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for engaging young learners
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a positive experience for children
- Prior experience in afterschool programs or youth development is advantageous

Pay: $17.86-$32.19 per hour
