Supportive Roommate (St. Albert)

Looking for a supportive roommate to share a fully furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with our 34 year old son

He works three days a week, enjoys sports, being around people, and building friendships. He has a developmental disability and continues to grow his confidence, independence, and community connections.

We are looking for a person who values inclusion, equal chance for all, friendship, and personal growth. This is a collaborative living arrangement- it is not a caregiving position. The role is to be a positive roommate and mentor who can encourage his independence, support his success at work and in the community, and help create a welcoming and positive home.

Details:

Start date: October 1, 2026

Compensation: $3,100/month

heated underground parking, utilities, and internet
- Flexible time off—ideal for someone with part-time work or classes

Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable insured vehicle
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Patient, dependable, and positive attitude
