The Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations. This position also involves maintaining the cleanliness of the dishwashing area and assisting kitchen staff when needed. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in upholding the high cleanliness and efficiency standards expected at AC Hotels.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hotel setting is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of dishwashing equipment and sanitation standards.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Familiarity with Marriott standards and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for guest satisfaction.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in humid conditions.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Requires grasping, bending, repetitive motions, and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dishwashing Operations:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils,



pots, and pans according to health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure all items are cleaned and stored in the correct locations.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assists in storing food deliveries.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

- Follow brand railroad cleaning practices and schedules.
- Cleans and sanitizes storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment.
- Maintains the cleanliness of dry storage areas and organization of storage shelves.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, floors, and kitchen areas.
- Monitors trash and recycling throughout shift and disposes of trash and recycling properly and promptly.
- Ensure the kitchen floors are clean and dried after mopping.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Support Kitchen Operations:

- Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks such as cleaning workstations and organizing supplies.
- Assist with inventory counts for food and equipment.
- Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly by keeping dishware and cookware readily available.

Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Team Collaboration:

- Support fellow kitchen and restaurant staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Practice the AC Brand Elevation mantras in your daily delivery approach with guests and AC family members.
- Actively participate in the daily affirmations stand-up meeting and apply key takeaways to enhance guest experiences.

Pay: $23.29 per hour
