Duties
- Transfer of our finished goods trailers from production carts into the designated yard storage locations.
- Keeps track of trailers in storage locations ensuring trailers are stored properly and/or staged efficiently for loading.
- Responsible to load trailers & parts into assigned shipment stacks for dealer pickup, or to load trailers & parts onto carrier's semi-trailer for dealer delivery.
- Ensures trailers & parts for each shipment are properly loaded and secured.
- Maintains accurate records and provide regular updates to team regarding status of incoming & outgoing shipments.
- Communicates regularly with production, customer service, and others involved in the shipping/receiving process.
- Unloads incoming parts for trailer manufacturing.
- Inspects forklift and crane daily and advises of any maintenance or safety issues.
- Uses all required PPE appropriately.
- Organizes and completes required yard cleaning duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Experience & Background
- Forklift and/or crane experience is an asset.
- Pay rate depends on qualifications/experience, we offer training for the right individual.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of heavy goods transportation and/or equipment loading.
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$26.00 per hour
