Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and trimming impressions

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating digital impressions
- Experience working with pediatric patients and providing specialized care
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system for managing patient information




- Knowledge of Dentrix dental practice management software for scheduling and billing purposes
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience in orthodontics is preferred but not required
