Key Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and service residential and commercial windows, doors, and glazing systems.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors, operators, and related hardware.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Perform accurate measurements and assess job site conditions.
- Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and office staff.
- Comply with all company policies and WorkSafe BC safety requirements.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Experience in glazing, auto glass, overhead doors, construction, or a related trade.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials of 50 lbs. and work at heights.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to professionalism, quality workmanship, and workplace safety.

Assets

The following qualifications are considered an asset:

- Experience with commercial storefront systems, aluminum glazing, or curtain wall installations.
- Experience with commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, automatic operators, or access control systems.
- Forklift,



aerial lift, or telehandler certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Fall Protection certification.
- Blueprint reading and construction experience.
