Bookkeeper (In-House, 28–32 Hours per Week)

We're looking for an organized, dependable bookkeeper to join our team and become part of the day-to-day life at Gladstone Brewing.

This is a permanent, in-office position of 28–32 hours per week, typically Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility for the right person.

What you'll do

You'll own the day-to-day bookkeeping that keeps our business running smoothly, including:

- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable and collections
- Vendor and customer communication
- Dext and invoice entry
- Preparing payments through Plooto
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Cash reconciliation and bank deposits
- Following up on missing receipts and documentation
- Gathering payroll information
- Benefits administration and employee changes
- Routine bookkeeping and journal entries
- Recording intercompany transactions
- Maintaining fixed-asset, loan, and prepaid schedules
- Preparing month-end reconciliations and supporting schedules




- Preparing the complete month-end package for review
- Keeping accounting records, files, and checklists organized

You'll work closely with our external accounting partner, who will handle payroll, compliance, technical accounting, and the final review of the books.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has 4+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Is comfortable with QuickBooks Online
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Communicates professionally with staff, customers, and vendors
- Enjoys creating order and improving systems
- Takes ownership of their work and follows through

Experience with Dext, Plooto, inventory-based businesses, or hospitality is an asset, but not required.
