Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and the operation of heavy equipment. This role involves performing a variety of tasks that require technical expertise, physical strength, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality project completion. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic construction environment. No set work location, Local work meet on site, out of town work transportation is provided.

Responsibilities

- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Construct and install concrete forms, perform concrete finishing tasks, and assist with restoration projects
- Install siding and perform carpentry work using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction tasks




- Use joinery techniques to join timber components as needed for structural integrity
- Handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to move materials and equipment around the job site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work
- Skilled in siding installation, carpentry, woodworking, timber framing, and use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Solid physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
- Construction experience with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency
- Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work well within a team environment

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
