CareMed Pharmacy is looking for an assistant to help pharmacists prepare prescriptions, keep the pharmacy clean and organized and serve the customers. The pharmacy delivers medicines to patients and serves persons with addictions and others requiring daily medication.
The ideal candidate is fluent in English, likes clean and pleasant work environment, is comfortable with computers and is compassionate with patients receiving treatment for addiction including some homeless patients.
This is a full time position five days a week, one of which is Saturday or Sunday with eight-hour shifts from 5:30 am to 2 pm and 10:00am to 6:30 pm with 1/2 hour lunch break. The pharmacy is close to down town Victoria.
Extended health and dental care benefits are available after six months of employment.
