Schedule: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, on-site

TELUS Health is looking for a full-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant in downtown Toronto. This role is ideal for an energetic wellness professional who enjoys delivering exceptional employee wellness experiences, building workplace community, and managing day-to-day wellness centre operations in a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Wellness Centre Operations & Supervision:

- Oversee daily Wellness Centre operations and maintain a safe, welcoming environment

- Manage the Wellness Centre inbox and bookings for classes, consultations, and events

- Complete facility walkthroughs, maintain supplies, and coordinate with building services

- Track facility usage and prepare monthly reports

- Maintain SharePoint content, wellness calendars, and onsite communications

- Support workplace inspections, safety audits, and emergency procedures

Fitness Programming & Instruction:

- Teach at least one 30-minute wellness or fitness class each day

- Provide equipment orientations and support secure use of the fitness room

- Coordinate and monitor group fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, strength, and mindful movement

- Track attendance and promote participation in wellness programming

Wellness Programming & Engagement:

- Deliver wellness consultations on fitness, healthy habits, stress management, and goal setting

- Facilitate meditation sessions, stretch breaks, and team wellness breaks

- Plan and coordinate monthly wellness activities, workshops, and special events

- Create and share monthly wellness communications to promote participation

- Support client wellness initiatives, internal campaigns, and employee resource groups

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

- Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness, Health Promotion, Workplace Wellness,



or related field

- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the corporate fitness & wellness industry

- Current group fitness instructor certification

- Current personal training certification

- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications

Core Competencies:

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Confident leading group programs and one-on-one consultations

- Strong organization and time management skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital tools

- Professional and customer-focused

- Passionate about workplace health and wellness

Salary Range: $18-$31
