Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with the physically demanding aspects of the role, including repetitive lifting of large/heavy objects, and use of shop tools and equipment. The candidate must be comfortable with a loud work workplace, working outdoors in all weather, and willing to use pneumatic saws, drill presses, and other cutting equipment. They will play a crucial role in customer service, workplace productivity, moving materials in and out of our warehouse, and ensuring accurate inventory integrity. This position requires a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes, as well as proficiency in customer service and warehouse tasks.

Duties

- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and inspecting for damage.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them accurately.
- Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload products safely.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement using in-house processes.




- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory counts.
- Maintain warehouse in-stock position to maximize efficiency of fabrication work.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating equipment within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.

Experience

- Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred, particularly within an e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and reach trucks; certification preferred.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Active driver's license preferred.
