Accountant / Office Manager

$65,000 – $90,000 annually based on experience, capability, and overall role contribution, plus bonus opportunity

Outdoor Travel, one of Ontario’s established and growing Recreation Vehicle Dealerships, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands on Accountant / Office Manager to become a key part of our leadership support team.

This is not simply a bookkeeping position. It is a broad and important role that sits at the center of the company’s accounting, reporting, payroll, and administrative organization.

We are looking for an individual who can keep the company’s accounting accurate and well controlled, maintain the advanced Excel reporting systems and management measurement tools ownership relies on to monitor the business, and provide broad administrative and organizational support throughout the office.

Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting ability is essential for this role.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Full-cycle bookkeeping, month-end procedures, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Accounts payable, receivable monitoring, payroll processing, bonus calculations, and government remittances
- Maintaining and updating advanced Excel-based financial reporting, budgets, performance tracking, and management spreadsheets
- Year-end working papers and coordination with external accountants
- Assisting ownership with office organization, workflow follow-up, reporting, document management, and recurring administrative tasks




- Helping maintain accurate internal controls, organized procedures, and strong accountability systems

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Robust full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Payroll and month-end reporting experience
- Excellent organization and deadline discipline
- A proactive, self-motivated, hands-on approach
- The desire to become involved beyond traditional bookkeeping duties

Formal accounting designations are welcome, but are not required. Practical accounting experience, business maturity, initiative, and solid organizational ability are equally valued.

Experience with dealership software, ERP systems, and accounting software is strongly preferred.
