AM EYES is seeking an experienced and proactive Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at our Toronto location at 124 Merton Street, Toronto, M4S 2Z2

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter dedicated to optimizing patient flow and providing comprehensive support to our physicians.

The candidate is expected to be fluent in English with additional language requirements.

The selected candidate will be provided a competitive pay package.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting a range of ocular diagnostic tests, including Zeiss Humphrey visual field, Zeiss Cirrus OCT, autorefraction, pachymetry, and iCare tonometry.
- Performing preliminary patient work-ups, including taking detailed patient histories and measuring visual acuity.
- Assisting with patient care by administering eye drops as directed.




- Managing patient scheduling, communication, and referral coordination with external healthcare partners.
- Maintaining clinic efficiency through effective inventory and supply management, as well as digital and paper document organization.
- Serving as a key point of contact for resolving technical issues with software vendors and the Ministry of Health.
- Proficiently operating EMR systems (Accuro preferred).

A mandatory requirement for this role is prior experience with ocular diagnostic imaging.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
