Job Description:
We are currently hiring for the following positions: Barista/Cashier/Floor staff.
Note: Candidates with strong experience and leadership potential may be considered for an Assistant Supervisor position.
Duties: Staff (based on position) will be expected to
- Take and manage customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Utilize customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash and credit transactions at the cash register.
- Have a broad understanding of the café to help answer customer questions.
- Have strong team-based skills to improve floor efficiency.
- Prepare cold and hot beverages consistently.
- Operate different appliances within the café to prepare menu items.
- Count,
maintain and log ingredients and other items within the café.
- Maintain sanitation on café premises both in and out of the kitchen.
- Follow food safety guidelines while preparing food.
- Handle cash and credit transactions at the cash register.
Experiences:
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a cafe (cashier, barista, kitchen staff)
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in the working environment.
- Experience working in a team workplace.
- Prior experience working with a POS system is an asset.
- Food Safe 1 Certification is an Asset
- Available to work both weekdays and weekends

Compensation: $18.50 & Starting with an opportunity to increase based on role and performance.
