Job Title: Night Shift Health Care Aide
Location: Richmond Lodge, Retirement Residence
Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Night Shift Health Care Aide to join our team in a retirement home setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the health, safety, and comfort of residents during overnight hours, while ensuring a calm and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with their care plans
- Monitor residents throughout the night and respond promptly to call bells or emergencies
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
- Support a clean, safe, and respectful living setting




- Follow all infection prevention and control protocols
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in a healthcare or retirement home setting is preferred
- Medical knowledge relevant to resident care
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours
- Reliable transportation and ability to consistently commute to the residence
- Must complete all required onboarding training and ongoing mandatory training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor

Pay: $18.00 per hour
