We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Pipe Layer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

- Install underground utilities including:
- Storm, sanitary, and water mains
- Electrical and communication ducting
- Manholes, catch basins, and hydrants
- Read and understand grades and site layouts
- Work safely around existing underground utilities
- Assist with trench preparation, bedding, and backfill operations
- Communicate effectively with foremen, operators, and crew members
- Follow company safety policies and site procedures

Qualifications

- Previous pipe laying and civil construction experience required
- Experience with grades is a must
- Strong understanding of underground utility installation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team workplace
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Valid BC Driver’s License preferred
- Ability to safely work around excavation equipment and utilities
- Knowledge of safe work practices, PPE, and locating procedures
