Job Overview

Dentistry@Rockland is a community-focused dental practice known for providing exceptional care in a welcoming environment.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Harp Certified ,Dental Assistant (Level II) to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient care while supporting a smooth, efficient clinical workflow.

Key Responsibilities

- Build solid, positive relationships with patients.
- Provide chairside assistance across a variety of dental procedures.
- Take prescribed radiographs and impressions as required.
- Manage sterilization, disinfection, and documentation according to best practices. Prepare treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
- Support dentists during medical or dental emergencies when necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and appointments. Ensure all treatment consent forms are properly completed and documented. Deliver post-operative care instructions to patients when needed.
- Keep clinical and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant. Monitor, maintain, and order dental supply inventory as scheduled.
- Identify gaps in the clinical schedule and collaborate with the Office Manager on solutions.



Assist colleagues during downtime to support smooth clinic operations. Participate in continuing education events as required.

Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. HARP certified. Graduate of a recognized Dental Assisting Program (Level II preferred).

Fluent in English and French.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-minded.

Position Details Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28-32/hr Expected Hours: Up to 30-35 per week
