Our client is seeking a Leasing Specialist to join their team in Toronto. Reporting to the Leasing Manager, the successful candidate will support the leasing and administrative functions of a purpose-built residential rental. This is a full-time 12-month contract role with a outstanding opportunity to become permanent.

Responsibilities:

- Responds to residential leasing inquiries received by phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedules and conducts suite showings for prospective residents.
- Provides required notices of entry to current residents and coordinates viewing appointments while minimizing disruption.
- Tours prospective residents through available suites and property amenities.
- Assists prospective residents with completing rental applications and reviews applications to ensure they meet established criteria.
- Prepares completed applications for final review and approval by the Property Manager.
- Maintains accurate leasing records, traffic reports, market surveys, guest cards, and vacancy reports.




- Tracks leasing activity and unit availability until vacancies are filled.
- Updates marketing materials, website content, and social media platforms.
- Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Knowledge of residential tenancy legislation is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel between properties.

Compensation:

- Annual base salary of $50,000 - $60,000
- Commission of $150 on any lease signed
- Paid Vacation
- Paid Sick days
