We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products
- Upsell retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times
- Follow all sanitation and safety protocols for tools, equipment, and shared spaces
- Build positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

Cleaning and Maintenance Duties

- Clean personal station after every client, including chair, tools, counter, and surrounding area




- Perform turn‑by‑turn mopping duties throughout the day to keep the salon floor spotless
- Disinfect clippers, scissors, combs, and all tools according to health and safety standards
- Assist with end‑of‑day cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, garbage disposal, and sanitizing surfaces
- Keep washrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces tidy and presentable
- Restock towels, capes, and cleaning supplies as needed

Experience

- 3–4 years of experience as a Barber or Stylist preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques
- Familiarity with salon sanitation standards and cleaning procedures
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent client rapport
- Experience in retail sales and front desk operations is an asset

Additional Requirement

- Be prepared to bring your volunteer model for a trial demonstration during the interview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00-$4,000.00 per month
