Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Process transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and service areas
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly
- Assist with food service, including delivering orders to tables when necessary
- Support team members in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment

Experience





- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods and multitask efficiently
