We are seeking experienced people for our fabrication team in our Welland location.
As a fabricator you will be required to read drawings, cut and polish a variety of natural and engineered stone surfaces using handheld power tools. You will also assemble miters and laminate stone to finish high quality products in a protected and efficient manner.

Responsibilities and Duties
- grind and polish stone using hand and power tools
- fill cracks and imperfections in stone
- glue and miter stone
- operate tool and machines in a safe and productive manner to produce products to specifications required
- use measuring equipment and check each piece to ensure it matches drawing
- properly and safely load and unload materials from tables and machines
- keep work area clean
- able to work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- previous experience operating tools or polishing stone is preferred
- strong attention to detail with a focus on superior quality craftsmanship
- excellent problem solving and communication skills
- able to stand for prolonged periods of time and ability to push, pull and move equipment and stone in excess of 50 lbs
- able to work overtime as required
- positive and professional attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
