Job Overview
We are seeking an entry-level, dedicated, and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to our users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This role requires an understanding of various operating systems and networking concepts, as well as excellent communication skills to assist users with their technical needs.

Duties

- Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues across various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Assist users with VPN setup and connectivity issues to ensure secure remote access.
- Manage help desk requests using ticketing systems such as OSTicket ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries.
- Conduct software troubleshooting for applications including Microsoft Office and other business-critical software.
- Maintain computer networking infrastructure, including LAN setups and firewall configurations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance user experience through effective customer service.




- Document solutions and maintain knowledge base articles for common issues to facilitate future troubleshooting efforts.

Skills

- Proficient in providing IT support across multiple operating systems: Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- An understanding of computer hardware components and their functionalities.
- Experience with VPN technologies and network configurations.
- Familiarity with help desk software such as OSTicket.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN setups and firewall management.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $38,500.00-$42,500.00 per year
