We at Ridgecrest Dairy are looking for an individual to train as an apprentice cheese maker, this includes all aspects of production in a specialty Dairy Plant. The position requires a solid work ethic with an emphasis on responsibility, there is some heavy lifting and long days involved.
Our work schedule for production is 4 days on and 4 days off. An average day is 12-13.5 hours sometimes less depending on demand.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain their Dairy plant workers license from BCIT (employer will sponsor successful candidates). Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with over time when required.
