Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Shawarma Store Employee to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious shawarma, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and effective food service environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble shawarma and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Experience with cashiering, food handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is desirable
- Solid time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
