Optimal Health Clinic (beOptimal.ca) is a membership-based longevity and preventive health clinic in Barrie. Our clinical team is NP-led and supported by physician oversight, modern diagnostics (including body composition analysis and on-site phlebotomy), and a collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment.
The Role
We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical care to our members two days per week on-site. You'll manage a consistent panel with the time and resources to do thorough, preventive, relationship-based care — not 10-minute visits.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments, chronic disease management, preventive screening, and episodic care
- Order and interpret lab work and diagnostic imaging; develop individualized care plans
- Prescribe and manage medications within NP scope of practice
- Deliver proactive,
prevention-focused care aligned with our longevity medicine model
- Document care in our EMR and collaborate with our existing NP and physician team
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current CNPS or equivalent professional liability protection
- 2+ years of primary care experience as an NP preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort working with significant autonomy
- Interest in preventive, longevity, and lifestyle medicine is an asset
