Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part Time Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization. This pivotal role involves managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring energy, precision, and a proactive approach to supporting our financial health. As a Part Time Controller, you will play a vital role in guiding budgeting processes, account reconciliation, and financial analysis to help drive strategic decisions.

Duties

- Manage and oversee all accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to record, track, and report financial data accurately.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial statements and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Perform detailed account analysis to monitor financial performance and support budgeting efforts.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review on a consistent basis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.




- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Prior experience in a controller or senior accounting role is required

Pay: $50.00-$75.00 per hour
