As an optician, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients find the perfect eyewear to meet their vision needs. You will use your expertise in optical products and sales to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field, strong communication skills, and knowledge of medical terminology related to vision care.

Duties
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses based on their lifestyle and occupational needs, prescription and facial features.
- Take precise measurements of patient's eyeglasses- Interpret prescriptions written by Optometrists or Ophthalmologists
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain inventory of eyewear and optical supplies

-Pretesting A/R, A/K, BP, pachymetry, IOP's, retinal photos , macular and optic nerve scans, visual field screening and comprehensive HFA testing

Experience
- Previous experience as a dispensing Optician required
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to vision care
- Strong retail sales skills with a focus on customer service
- Familiarity with optical equipment and tools




- Proficiency in using Visual Eyes electronic software system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working in a clinic setting is an asset
