Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher/Customer Service representative to join our team. This role is vital in coordinating transportation logistics, managing freight operations, and providing exceptional support to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with various systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using transportation management systems and SyteLine software
- Manage shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods
- Utilize AS400 and other data entry tools to maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and customer interactions
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Analyze freight data to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency
- Oversee supply chain activities related to 3PL providers and ensure compliance with shipping regulations
- Monitor shipment statuses and provide proactive updates to customers regarding delivery timelines




- Assist with documentation, analysis, and reporting related to transportation operations
- Handle inquiries related to freight, shipping & receiving, and logistics through clear and professional communication skills

Requirements

- Proven experience with transportation management systems, SyteLine, AS400, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, freight operations, and 3PL logistics management
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analysis skills to interpret logistics data for process improvements
- Proficiency in typing and managing multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, drivers, and internal staff
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining high levels of organization
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving or related logistics roles is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $17.60-$34.41 per hour
