Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Taco Artist / Food and Beverage Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with their dining experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This is a hands on position where you will be expected to help with cooking food and making beverages. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are essential. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Duties

- Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations




- Assist in food preparation as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas during shifts
- Respond to guest inquiries or special requests professionally and courteously
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment needed
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and making change accurately
- Positive communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as serving, carrying trays, or cleaning tables
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
