Customer Service Check in Agent

SkyTeam Lounge located at Vancouver International Airport

Responsibilities may include

- Check-in and greet customers at Front Desk in a friendly and professional manner
- Offer high level of consistent, personalized, sincere and engaging service
- Meet and Greet customers and escort them to lounge seating area as required and handle general passenger inquiries. Must have knowledge of all types of accesses to the lounge and ensure proper admission instructions are followed.
- Proactively seek out passengers requiring additional customer service care and attention.
- Replenishing hot and cold food in the lounge e.g. buffet, coffee, snack etc.
- Replenish and serve liquor, wine, beer and soft drinks to ensure there is enough stock at all times.
- Re-stock coffee cups, plates, bowls, glasses, napkins and cutlery especially peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness of coffee, bar and buffet areas at all times
- Communicate constantly with the kitchen to ensure product is ready for placement when required
- Put away all dirty dishes and make sure all tables are clean and assisting clients with any needs they may have.
- Maintain all the seating areas in order and furniture shall always be placed accordance to original design, TVs on at all times, volume maybe muted.
- Wipe down tables and chairs continually
- Collect newspapers and magazines and return to shelves or recycle as necessary
- Work closely with team members to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and service standards
- All services shall be performed on a regular basis to assure superior cleanliness
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the supervisor or manager




- Must be able to handle multi-tasking assigned by immediate supervisor
- Additional duties as required

Requirements

- 1 to 2 years of customer service experience in hospitality industry
- Experience working in YVR Airport is an asset.
- Proficient in the English language (verbal and written)
- Ability to speak 2nd language is an asset
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Proficient or familiar with computerized systems
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of high school, college or equivalent combination education and experience.
- Ability to work day, evening and night shifts any day of the week including weekends and holidays. A flexible schedule is preferred.

Position Type

Full time and Part time (minimum of 24 hours)

Salary: $20.00 ~ $21.50

Night shift premium $1 /hour between 11:30 pm to 7:30 am

After 3 months probation, hourly rate will be readjusted base on work performance

- Require to have Serving It Right Certificate
